Exness downloads and access: MT4, MT5, Web Terminal, or the app

Downloads for PC and mobile, a browser terminal that needs no install, and a clean path to the Personal Area login. Every route is on the board below — pick your device and follow the steps.

This is an independent partner website — not Exness itself. Every account button here leads to the official exness.com, where registration, login, and trading actually happen. This site only explains the routes.

MT4, MT5, Web Terminal, or the app — which route to take

Registration happens once and creates the Personal Area; inside it, trading accounts are opened for a specific platform — MT4 or MT5. The Web Terminal works with MT5-based accounts, and the Exness Trade app does too — MT4 accounts connect through the MT4 mobile app. The difference is where they run and what they show; each column links to the full route.

MT4 or MT5 for desktop

Looking for the “Exness app for PC”? On a computer that means MT4, MT5, or the browser Web Terminal — there is no separate desktop app. The installers come from the official Exness website; download links are also listed in the Personal Area.

Trade app — store or APK

The Exness Trade app (formerly listed as Exness Trader) is on Google Play and the App Store, alongside the MT4 and MT5 mobile apps. On Android, a direct APK is also published on the official Exness site — the guide shows how to install it safely and avoid look-alike files.

Web Terminal — no install

Officially named the Exness Terminal — and often searched as the WebTrader — it runs the full trading session in a browser tab on Windows, macOS, or Linux. On macOS this is the simplest route — nothing to install, no separate package to look for.

Access

Exness Personal Area login: how to sign in

Login happens on the official exness.com — never on this site. Three steps, then the common snags.

  1. Open the official website

Use the account button on this page or type exness.com directly. Checking the address bar before entering a password is a simple habit that shuts out phishing copies.

  2. Enter the Personal Area email and password

The Personal Area uses the email address and password chosen at registration. A new device or browser may trigger a one-time verification code sent to that email.

  3. Manage accounts inside

Inside the Personal Area: opening real and demo accounts, deposits and withdrawals, leverage settings, and download links for every platform.

If login fails

  • Platform login is not the Personal Area login. MT4 and MT5 ask for a trading account number and a server name — not an email. Both are shown in the Personal Area and in the email sent when the account was created.
  • Forgotten password — the reset option on the official login page sends a password-reset email to the registered address.
  • Password is correct but rejected — most often a typo in the email, an old address, or a second account. The full checklist is in the login guide.

Spread — the small gap between the buy and sell price, the broker's charge on Standard accounts. A lot is a standard trade size. On Cent accounts, balances are counted in cents, so very small real trades are possible. Swap-free versions (no overnight-holding fee) exist for qualifying instruments.

Leverage is set per account

Leverage lets a position control more money than the deposit behind it — and it multiplies losses exactly as it multiplies gains. At Exness the available maximum depends on the instrument, the region, and the funds in the account; each trading account has its own leverage setting, changed in the Personal Area. How much is risked per trade matters more than the maximum on offer. Leverage in detail →

Demo first, if unsure

A demo account with virtual funds is available on MT4, MT5, the Web Terminal, and the app — same prices, no money at risk. How to open a demo →

The broker behind the platforms

What Exness is known for

Exness is a global forex and CFD broker founded in 2008 — CFDs are contracts that track an asset's price without owning the asset. Four things traders cite most, each with the fine print attached:

Withdrawals, processed automatically

The majority of withdrawals are processed automatically, providing quick, 24/7 access to funds.

Processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method.

Stable, competitive spreads

Some of the lowest and most stable spreads on key instruments, such as gold and oil CFDs, even during market-moving news events.

Spreads may fluctuate and widen due to factors including market volatility, news events, market open/close, and others.

Reliable execution

Fast, precise order execution with no market impact.

Delays and slippage may occur. No guarantee of execution speed or precision. Slippage — a fill at a different price than the one quoted.

Negative Balance Protection

Clients never lose more than they've deposited.

CFDs are complex products. Trading is risky and may not be suitable for everyone.

Exness is a globally regulated broker, holding multiple licenses from respected financial regulators around the world.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Is this the official Exness website?

No. This is an independent partner website. It explains platforms, downloads, and login; every account button leads to the official exness.com, where registration and trading actually happen.

MT4 or MT5 — which one to download?

For a new desktop setup, MT5 is the newer platform: more timeframes, more built-in indicators, and depth of market. MT4 remains the right choice for traders who depend on MT4-only expert advisors and indicators. Both connect to Exness accounts.

Does trading require installing anything?

No. The Web Terminal runs a full trading session in a browser tab on Windows, macOS, or Linux. Installers exist for traders who prefer a desktop terminal.

Is there an Exness app for PC?

Not as a separate program. On a computer, the routes are MT4 or MT5 — installed terminals — or the Web Terminal in a browser. The Exness Trade app itself is built for iOS and Android phones and tablets.

How does the Exness APK install work on Android?

The direct APK is published on the official Exness website for phones without Google Play access. Android asks for a one-time permission to install from the browser; the guide on this site walks through each screen. APK files from other sources should not be trusted.

What is the minimum deposit?

The Standard and Standard Cent accounts have no minimum deposit. Professional accounts (Pro, Raw Spread, Zero) have a higher minimum that depends on the region — the current amount is shown on the official Exness website and in the Personal Area.

Is there a demo account?

Yes — with virtual funds, on all four platforms. It can be opened right after registration, before any deposit, uses the same market prices as a real account, and is the standard way to test a platform.

How is leverage changed at Exness?

In the Personal Area: each trading account has a leverage setting that can be changed after signing in. The available maximum depends on the instrument, the region, and the funds in the account.

Why do MT4 and MT5 ask for a server name?

MT4 and MT5 sign in with a trading account number, a password, and a server name. The account number and server name are shown in the Personal Area; the trading password is set when the account is created and can be reset there. This is separate from the email login of the Personal Area itself.

Who runs this site?

An independent Exness partner. The site explains platforms, downloads, and login; registration, trading, and official support happen on exness.com. The Live Help page here is answered by this site's team. Account terms are the same as when registering directly.

The official door is one click away

Creating the account takes a few minutes on the official Exness website — email and a short questionnaire; identity verification follows in the Personal Area. Every platform on this page — MT4, MT5, Web Terminal, and the app — signs in with the accounts created there. Full registration walkthrough →
